Swim sessions will resume on Sunday 8th January 2012, and taking place every Sunday night from then.  Meet at King Henry VIII swimming pool, ready to swim at 17:30.  Sessions last 1 hour.  Showers/Changing facilities available.  £4.00 members, £5.00 non-members.  There are a range of sets available depending on experience, as well as a dedicated technique lane.  The focus at the start of the year will be endurance, moving towards some speed work from March.

This Sunday (26th Feb 2012), the coaches will be attending a day long workshop on swim coaching.  As a result of this, there will not be a coach available at the swim session in the evening.  The session will still be going ahead with session plans available to follow.

The Sunday swim sessions on 13th, 20th and 27th May will be focussing on some Open Water skills.  The sessions are fully coached and there will be sets for everyone, from novices at Open Water all the way up to some long sets for those that want them.

Wetsuits will only be needed for the session on the 27th May, but if anyone wants to bring their wetsuit along to any of the sessions for a bit of a trial, then please do.

As usual, arrive at King Henry VIII School pool ready to swim at 1730. £4 members £5 non-members.
